After the crushing of olives, the olive oil filtration is a process that enhances the quality of the final product, make it more stable during time and less subject to aging.
VLS Technologies’ has developed specific machinery for the filtration of oils, that can be subdivided into three groups: vertical pressure leaf filters, sheet filters and filter presses.
Vertical pressure leaf filters designed for oils represent the premium technology from VLS, since are easier to use during maintenance and discharge than horizontal filters.
For syrups and sugary solutions, both pressure leaf filters and rotary vacuum filters are employed.
