The Italian brewery SEMEDORATO depends again on the expertise and the technologies from VLS. After purchasing a 10 sqm vertical screens DE filter, the brewery adds a second filter for beer. It is the horizontal screens DE filter FOC20 with centrifugal discharge, PED certified and specific for beer filtration.

The brewery produces about 50 thousand hectoliters of beer per year and sales them not only in Italy but also in Holland, France, Germany and Costa Rica. Semedorato Premium Lager and Golden Seed Doppelbock are two of their excellencies.
The FOC 20 purchased by SEMEDORATO is a horizontal screens filter composed of monoblock units in Stainless Steel for beer filtration thanks to fossil flour – which acts as filtering aids, with centrifugal discharge and control panel in self extinguish polycarbonate.
Complying to Directive 2014/68/UE (PED) concerning risk control and safety for machinery which have to work under pressure, the DE filter manufactured by VLS Technologies for Semedorato has been projected respecting the essential security requirements being a machinery that works at a max admissible pressure superior to 0,5 bar.
This specific filter is provided with PED certification.
