VLS Technologies is happy to announce that they have gotten the award “New Technology SIMEI 2017” with their UNICO, the all-in-one filtration system for food liquids. The ceremony will take place on September, the 12th at 5 p.m. at the C” Hall during the SIMEI, the most important exhibition of the technologies for oenology and bottling which will happen in a strategic partnership with the Drinktec, the leader exhibition of the food and beverage sector which is going to be held from September the 11th to September the 15th 2017 in Munich.
The prestigious award, created by the Italian Unione Vini, is an important acknowledgement for VLS Technologies; it recognizes the innovation of the UNICO technology, the multi stage all-in-one cross flow for heterogeneous products coming from different food sectors.
The AD of VLS Technologies, Jacopo Velo, is proud of this goal: “This achievement awards out Company’s know-how; our Company has over 30 years of experience in the filtration and liquid treatment in the wine sector. Innovation and technological creativity are the pillars upon which the Innovation Challenge SIMEI “Lucio Mastroberardino” is based; it is an award created by Unione Italiana Vini which offers recognition to the innovation on the oenological fields and the bottling. “The Italian technology has proved itself to once again be a leader in the field of innovation for the winemaking sector”. Paolo Castelletti, General Secretary of Unione Italiana Vini (UIV) has commented this way the outcome of the selection.
VLS Technologies will attend the Drinktec (HALL C2 stand 506) with its two most innovative cross flow technologies: apart from the UNICO filter, which won the SIMEI Innovation Challenge Award, the Lees Stop solution will be displayed. That is a filter which allows to replace the rotary drum vacuum filters and offers an automatic filtration without the use of the fossil flour.
At Drinktec VLS Technologies will deliver two speeches on their technologies of cross flow filtration; Stefano Giacobini, Area Manager, and Francesco Chinni, Sale Manager, will partecipate.
